More than 60 Types of Cheese to be Produced in Teleti Factory

In the following days, Teleti Cheese New Factory will start functioning. As one of the factory founder, “Cheese House” founder, Ana Mikadze-Chikvadze says, the factory is determined to produce more than 60 types of cheese.

“I’m going to produce all the cheese based on the recipes I have been collecting for years. My partner bought the land and buildings in Teleti for the factory by auction. I gained the grant, we united our strengths and built a new factory which will only produce the cheese”-says Ana.

There will be farm, mill, and cheese makers’ studio which might be free in the beginning.

There will be hotel built at the factory territory where students from different regions will live. There will also be cheese museum corner at the factory. In the long perspective, it is planned to produce meat products as well.

As for cheese export, Ana Mikadze-Chikvaidze says that there is the highest demand from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine and Russia; therefore they export cheese to these countries first. In the future, it is planned to export the product to European market as well.
