The TBC Bank’s head office has held a presentation of EUGBC BUSINESS LINE, the new business catalogue of the EU-Georgia Business Board.
EUGBC secretary general Zviad Chumburidze introduced the new catalog to Georgian and foreign businessmen, government officials, diplomats, the field experts and media reporters. David Bakradze, the State Minister in European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Issues, also attended the presentation.
The new EUGBC catalog embraces the member companies that operate in the fields of energy, banking, professional consultancy, transportation, commerce, production, agriculture and so on. The catalog contains information on the performance of major, medium and small business sectors and describes their development potential.
“The board’s activity is important for our Euro integration process, because it promotes establishment of Georgia-EU business contacts. This catalog was published to further deepen these relations and update the European audience on the potential in Georgia”, David Bakradze, the State Minister in European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Issues, said.
Badri Japaridze, the deputy head of the TBC Bank supervisory board, addressed the presentation guests.
“Traditional exports markets are in the heaviest condition today. Economic crisis rages everywhere. Therefore, we should maximally use the opportunities as part of the EU free trade agreement. We should provide comprehensive information to Georgian companies and the publication of similar catalogs is very important in this context”, Badri Japaridze said.
The EUGBC 2016 publication describes the perspectives of the deep and comprehensive free trade agreement with Europe, as well as important transnational projects. The EUGBC BUSINESS LINE also includes the information on Georgian wines, culture heritage, ancient Georgian works and metal production.
