The President of Georgia will sign the bill on National Bank. President Giorgi Margvelashvili made the announcement for the press today.
The Parliament of Georgia rejected President’s notes on the bill on the amendments to the National Bank law and overrode his veto yesterday.
The amendments to the law on the National Bank, which envisage separation of the supervisory function from the National Bank’s finance sector, will be sent to the President for signing. If Giorgi Margvelashvili had refused to sign the law, the Parliament Speaker would have done it.
