Our Citizens Pay the Price for Baseless Accusations, Says NBG President

“Now is not the time for wild accusations, it is time to work round the clock,” George Kadagidze, President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), said  at a briefing.

According to him, completely baseless and comical allegations from the government and members of the ruling coalition have become a tradition. “We are not going to get involved in this process, since we have responsibilities. We believe that what is going on is very bad and hurts our economy. Our citizens pay price for these baseless accusations from their own pockets.

Now is not the time for wild accusations, it is time to work round the clock. Now it is time to produce concrete results, which, ultimately, will reduce the people’s social burden.” said Kadagidze.
