The memorandum was signed in the Administration of the President of Georgia and its aim is to deepen cooperation between the Agency, the Bank and the President’s Administration for the establishment of the Startup Ecosystem.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, partners will implement joint projects on promotion of innovative and entrepreneurial environment, improvement of startups investment environment and stimulating youth entrepreneurial activities.
Following the signing of the memorandum, the partners have announced the launch of the first project “Startup Week “, which will be held in late May in Tbilisi and in late June in Zugdidi. The aim of the week is to create a space where Startup Ecosystem players will get acquainted with each other’s activities and establish business affairs.
In the framework of the week, startups will learn about all the possibilities offered by state and private organizations. In addition, foreigner startup mentors will carry out trainings and provide them with relevant consultations.
Along with accelerators of university bases, public funding platform Investme.ge will organize ”Startup Week”.
One of the aim of the cooperation is ”Startup Week” to be result-oriented, regular and to be held twice a year, at Technopark and in Zugdidi.
