In January-August, tax revenues amounted to GEL 5 billion 151 million 200 thousand that is GEL 530 million more than in the same period of last year. Revenues totaled 6 billion and 304 million that is 823 million more than last year’s figures. This data was presented by Finance Minister at today’s session.
In particular, he presented a report on the budget execution for 8 months, and noted that in January-August the tax revenues amounted to GEL 5 billion 151 million 200 thousand, which is 66 percent of the annual plan and 89% of the 9-month plan. This is GEL 530 million or 11% more than in the same period of last year.
As for the state budget revenues over the same period, in Nodar Khaduri’s words, this figure makes GEL 6 billion 304 million, that is GEL 823 million more than in the same period of the previous year and 87% of the 9 -month plan.
Khaduri stresses that revenues and expenditures equal each other and result in a balanced budget in the current year. As for the cost of capital projects, in the Minister’s words , in total GEL 900 million has already been allocated for this purpose, which is 32% higher than last year’s corresponding figure.
According to the Minister, cash execution of the funds allocated from the Regional Development Funds amounts to GEL 188 million. To date, the Fund has already allocated GEL 390 million. Municipalities and autonomous republics budget in January-August reached GEL 260 billion million.
