Asian Development Bank has allocated credit line to Basis Bank in order to support trade development.
The volume of allocated sum amounts to 3 million USD within the frame of TFP. The mentioned program significantly expends operation in the Central Asia and Caucus region.
It has been noted, that geographical location enables Georgia to become trade corridor between Asia and Europe. However, Georgian banking sector will get important benefit from trade volume increase, which results to country’s economic boost on its part.
It should be noted, that Basis Bank is the third bank in Georgia, which started cooperation with ADB within the frame of TFP program.
