Voice Signal Installed at Batumi Municipal Transport for PWD and Blind Persons

With the initiative of the students group of IT’s OK and by support of the Radio Adjara, pilot voice signal systems have been installed at 10 adapted municipal buses in Batumi.

The voice signals will announce bus stops and neighboring sights in Georgian and English languages. Moreover, this system will help persons with disabilities (PWD) and blind persons trip by bus easier.

The voice signal will also remind passengers of paying fares.

If this pilot project justifies, it will be installed in all other routes and buses.
